TECO product design theory The TECO product design theory of Double Coin was proposed by Mr. Long Youming, a well-known expert of the older generation of tires in the 1990s, and was widely used in Double Coin all-steel radial tires. The full name of TECO is Tyre Entirety Construction Optimization theory, which is developed based on the structural characteristics of radial tires combined with contour design theory. 30 years since the TECO came out, a large number of engineers have developed and improved this theory, and it has now developed to the third generation. The introduction of stiffness distribution and unbalanced inner contour optimization design has made TECO developed from the initial safety performance calculation to a full range of structural design guidance. The jointly development of a TECO-based parametric design platform with Harbin Institute of Technology enables tire design entering the AI era.
Smart tires Smart tires are the development trending of future tires. Double Coin has been conducting research on RFID and TPMS since 2016. Smart tires integrate real-time load monitoring and remaining tread pattern monitoring on the basis of TPMS, and include RFID information.
New developments in finite element analysis Finite element analysis technology is widely used in the field of tire research. Tire noise laboratory Double Coin Tire Research Institute Co., Ltd. has been deeply involved in the field of tire noise for many years. It has established a cooperation platform for tire noise testing and research with the Institute of Acoustics of Tongji University, and has a leading position in domestic tire noise in-door testing methods. The platform has jointly constructed standards: "Tire Noise Testing Method: Drum Method " and "Test Method for Tire Inertial Sliding Passing Noise ", have obtained the engineering laboratory certification of the China Petrochemical Association. The noise engineering laboratory is currently one of the domestic benchmark laboratories and has participated in the promotion of the international standard ISO jobs.
